We share the categories we’re judging at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2025
The Practical Motorhome Awards 2025 are soon going to be upon us (2nd-8th December) and with that in mind, we’re pleased to be announcing the categories we’re judging this year!
The Awards see the expert team at Practical Motorhome come together to reveal the standout models for the 2025 season, with the aim of making the process of buying a motorhome as straightforward as possible for you – to be eligible, ‘vans have to be new or significantly revised for the 2025 season. We begin by compiling a shortlist for each category before whittling it down to our final list, with the results revealed over our special online week (2-8 December).
For the Practical Motorhome Awards 2025, we’ve introduced some new campervan categories, as well as a special category to recognise green initiatives within the industry. Find out the exact list we’re judging below…

- Best low-profile motorhome

- Best budget campervan (less than £65,000)
- Best luxury campervan
- Best small campervan
- Best campervan for everyday use
- Best campervan for a family of 4
- Best 2-berth campervan with shower and toilet
- Best VW campervan
- Best campervan for solo travel
Accessory categories
- Best motorhome accessory
- Best motorhome gadget
