The Amazon Black Friday sale has already started and I’ve spotted a £50 saving on the TomTom Go Camper Max
While Black Friday may still be a week away (29th November), Amazon has already launched its sale, with the retailer’s Black Friday Week running from 21 November to 2 December. I’ve been having a look at the initial offers and one of my favourite Black Friday deals I’ve spotted so far is for the TomTom Go Camper Max 2nd gen, which is currently available with a £50 saving, bringing it down to £249.99.

The current Black Friday price is actually cheaper than the deal we saw over Prime Day too, when the TomTom Go Camper Max was on offer for £254.99. The model comes packed with the type of features you would want from one of the best motorhome sat navs, helping you to navigate safely and avoid unexpected stresses on the road.
Most crucially for a ‘van sat nav, it will take the dimensions of your vehicle into account, ensuring you should be in a position to safely reach your destination without encountering obstacles such as narrow roads or low bridges. The eye-catching directions and cues are displayed clearly on the seven-inch screen too, helping to avoid confusion or miss turnings, exits and similar as they approach. This type of feature on its own could be enough to answer ‘do you need a special sat nav for a motorhome?’ with a yes.
Helpfully, the second-generation model comes with a new ‘avoid LEZ’ setting too, which will allow you to steer clear of low-emission zones on your journey. It now comes with a USB-C connection too, as well as POIs from names such as ACSI and ADAC. There’s even a chance to get a one-year free subscription to receive speed camera alerts with it too.
