Le Voyageur replaces Classic with Eterna for 2024

A new Fiat-based range based on Al-Ko’s new STC chassis and with a new family-oriented model that comes in at 3500kg are among the highlights of  2024 season for Le Voyageur.

Running the new Eterna range on the STC chassis means models can have a flat floor inside from front to back, and a larger storage area in the double floor.

The chassis also has a lower centre of gravity than before, and so should provide a more stable driving experience.

The Eterna also uses roof design technology first incorporated in the company’s Mercedes-based Heritage range. The company says this alone has led to a 50kg reduction in weight in comparable models.

Kitchens have also been completely redesigned for the new range, as have cab seats, to make them easier to install.

All models also come with a 150Ah lithium leisure battery.

The beds in the 7.0GJF

The new family model, the 7.0GJF, includes four travel seats, a drop-down bed over the cab, and two single beds in the rear that are close to 2m in length. The single space washroom has been inspired by the side washroom in the Neo model produced by sister brand Frankia.

In order to keep the weight down, the cab in the 7.05m-long vehicle does not have its own doors.

There is the option of a fifth bed made from the dinette too.

As well as the Eterna from Le Voyageur, other brands have been releasing information about their 2024 models, including Pilote, which is adding a new layout to its Ford Transit-based low-profile Atlas range. As well as this, Itineo has added a low-profile six-berth too, while Chausson is adding crossover and special edition models.
