I’m the editor of Practical Motorhome and these are the deals I’m most tempted by this Black Friday
Motorhoming is one of those pastimes where you can never have enough stuff. True, there’s always your ‘van’s payload to stick to, but if you’ve got the capacity to carry it, then buying the latest gadgets and gizmos is always fun.
Which is why I’m a big fan of Black Friday – it represents a great opportunity to stock up on those bits and pieces that you always wanted – or didn’t even know you needed.
I’ve spent quite a while over the past few days having a close look at some of the deals that are out there, and compiled a list of what is tempting me this Black Friday. There’s everything here from sat-navs to dinner sets, so there’s a great range of products, and all are at a decent discount.
So without further ado, here’s what I’m considering buying this Black Friday, and why. Don’t miss our pick of the best Black Friday deals on motorhome accessories either.

Beldray LA031051 Collapsible Dish Drainer was £11.99 now £7.99 (save 33%)
I’m planning to buy a new motorhome in 2025, and it’ll be a van conversion, so I’m going to need to think carefully about what I kit it out with. As a result, I’ve just bought this collapsible draining rack which is on Black Friday sale on Amazon. In the past I’ve had to pile my washing up on tea towels to drain in the ‘van, but it keeps sliding around; this neat, lightweight gadget should solve the issue. There looks to be plenty of room for stacking even larger sized pots and pans, and reviewers rave about the handy cutlery sections. Best of all, it folds down for easy storage when it’s not in use, too.
FALCON Full HD Wireless Rear View Camera was £399 now £299
Many used motorhomes (and some new ones) don’t offer a rear-view camera, which in my (ahem) view is a shame – they’re a very useful piece of kit to have when you’re driving a larger vehicle. Which is why this rear-view camera is, in my opinion, worth a look.
It’s from UK brand Falcon, and uses digital transmission to offer a high-definition image on the large screen. There’s a 120-degree field of view, and you can also pair up to four cameras to allow you to see all around your ‘van with ease. It has an infrared night vision mode, too.
Kampa Non-Slip 12-Piece Dinner Set was £43.50 now £16.99 (save 62%)
I’m a sucker for decent motorhoming kitchen ware, but some of the examples you see on the market can be a little garish – which is why this plain white set from respected brand Kampa caught my eye. It looks as though it’s made of porcelain, but it’s actually practical and lightweight melamine, adding a nice touch of class to your ‘van’s lockers and saving your payload, too.
The set contains four plates, four bowls and four side plates, and best of all it’s currently available at a great Black Friday discount from Winfields.

TomTom GO Camper Max sat-nav was £299 now £249
I love a good motorhome-specific sat-nav system, telling anyone who will (or won’t) listen just how handy they are if you drive a large vehicle. So it’s great to see TomTom’s 7-inch GO Camper Max on Black Friday sale, with a hefty and tempting discount, too.
The reason it’s so attractive is that it offers both motorhome-specific routing, which will take your vehicle’s full dimensions into account, and a wealth of other features, including a campsite directory, speed camera and traffic alerts, details of rest areas and facilities, and much, much more.
GreatCool 62″ Car Wash Brush Kit was £24.99 now £15.99 (save 36%)
I’ve been looking for a long-handle brush for some time, and this one seems to be ideal – thanks to its handle, which can be extended to 160cm, this should make the process of cleaning a motorhome simpler, allowing me to wash the walls of any motorhome with ease.
It comes with a pair of chenille microfibre mop heads, which should be kind to bodywork and exterior graphics, and the handle can be taken apart for easy storage. Best of all, it comes with a handy 45cm x 23cm bag to keep everything in when you’ve finished cleaning your ‘van.
Take the Slow Road Scotland was £25 now £19.50 (save 22%)
I’m a big fan of the Take the Slow Road books by campervanner and environment campaigner Martin Dorey; they take in some beautiful regions of Europe and really inspire you to hit the road yourself. So I was pleased to see a good Black Friday deal on Take the Slow Road Scotland.
This will make a handy guide for anyone planning to explore this stunning country by motorhome; it features details of numerous routes that you can follow to see the best that it has to offer. There’s guidance on the popular NC500, SWC300 and NE250 routes included, too.
Garmin Camper sat-nav range
Okay, so I don’t need two sat-navs, but like the TomTom above, this Garmin Camper is also a great price this Black Friday. I recently tested the Garmin Camper 1095 and was hugely impressed by the vehicle-specific routing and the rest of its amazing features, which include voice assist, multiple directories and a lot more.
I tested the large, 10-inch screen model, but the two smaller variants – the 795 and the 895 – are very similar, but with slightly smaller screens. The 1095’s screen is very large – which you might find a bit irritating if you have a more diminutive campervan – so 895 (which is also on Black Friday sale) is a good alternative.
