Adria to launch its first ever VW-based ‘van and relaunch Sun Living
Adria will launch its first ever vehicles based on VW for the 2025 season, and will also be relaunching its budget Sun Living brand.
Adria regularly appears at our Owner Satisfaction Awards 2024, where the best motorhome brands are revealed, most recently winning one gold award and two silver awards. For the 2025 season, the VW Crafter base vehicles will feature in the Slovenian company’s new Compact Max sub-range, and include an “SP” layout, with a transverse bed, that is not currently available in the current Compact range based on a Fiat Ducato.
The new vans are slightly wider that the existing Compact models, at 2.17m, and come with a new front hood, an opening sun roof, and a double floor. They run on a 140bhp or optional 170bhp engine, and either 6-speed manual as standard or 8-speed automatic as an option. Inside you get Truma diesel heating and a washroom with a swivel partition.

Adria feels the new season is also a good time to relaunch its budget Sun Living range, which has had something of a hiatus in the UK this season.
For 2025 the range will include four crossover low-profile models, two overcabs and two compact vans. Anyone looking for the best campervan will be interested to hear about the release of four different campervans too – including a V65 SL model, with single beds that double up as a rear lounge, which is not currently available as an Adria van.
The Sun Living V65 SL
For the first time it will be possible to have a Sun Living running on a Ford Transit, with the crossover and overcab models offering this as an option. The new models will also be compatible with a new Sun Living smart control mobile app for the first time.

Although prices are yet to be decided, Adria says it is planning for there to be a wider margin between Sun Living and standard Adria than before, with new Sun Living coming in around the mid-£70,000 mark, and new Adrias being around £20,000 more expensive.
