Dolphin Motorhomes celebrates 20th anniversary this year

Dolphin Motorhomes is crunching the numbers this year: 2023 sees the dealership celebrating its 20th anniversary at its Southampton, Hampshire, and Christchurch, Dorset, branches.

The latter business, formerly known as Hants and Dorset Motorcaravans, was founded 40 years back and taken over by Dolphin 10 years ago.

Dolphin Motorhomes has picked up 10 Owner Satisfaction Gold Awards over a timespan which, as marketing manager Nicky Hopper puts it, runs: “From a Portakabin in the car park, with five staff and a handful of motorhomes, to two branches, more than 80 vehicles and 27 staff. We have a very loyal customer base and an equally loyal sales team, who between four of them, tot up over 70 years of service at Dolphin. Long may this continue!”

The 20th anniversary of Dolphin Motorhomes follows on from the two Gold Awards that the dealer achieved at our most recent Owner Satisfaction Awards, thanks to scores of 84.1% and 86.8% in the Best Dealer: new motorhomes and the Best Dealer – pre-owned motorhomes categories respectively.

The dealer offers ‘vans from a variety of brands, including Auto-Trail and Bailey.
