Niesmann + Bischoff upgrades its Arto range for 2025
Central locking that you can customise yourself, a 300-litre fresh water tank and storage compartments you can pull out of the double floor to load up elsewhere are just some of the features included in the upgraded Niesmann + Bischoff Arto range for 2025.
Described by the company as the first liner on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, the new Arto A-class motorhome is available in two different motorhome layouts. The single axle Arto 78 is 7.82m long, with an MTPLM of 4.5 tonnes. The twin-axle Arto 88 Is longer at 9.06m and heavier, with an MTPLM of 5.5-tonnes. Both have a central washroom and fixed single beds at the back.
The new-look Artos follow on from Niesmann + Bischoff’s upgrade of the Flair and iSmove ranges in recent years, and include some of the features already unveiled in those upgrades, such as a settee in the front lounge that swings around to provide two travel seats.
The double floor and garage in the luxury motorhomes provide 4532 litres of storage space which is partly fitted out with storage compartments you can slide out through the pull-up bus flaps in the side skirt, as in the Flair models.
But new for the Arto is an optional central locking system which can be customised to your requirements, so that, for example, only the flaps on one side of the motorhome are locked.
Both models also come with a 300-litre fresh water tank and a 200-litre waste water tank. As options, you can also have a fixed 170-litre toilet tank and a 120-litre underslung gas tank.
A 150Ah lithium battery is fitted as standard, although this can be upgraded to 450 Ah. You also get as standard a 660W solar module.
And for the first time with Niesmann + Bischoff, key services in the motorhomes can be controlled via an app. So you can, for example, put the heating on before you arrive back from a walk. There are also programmable “coming home”, “departure” and “bedtime’ scenarios. The app will be available on the Google or Apple app stores from September.
The new Artos will be arriving on dealer forecourts in November, but can also be viewed on the company’s online configurator.
Other new models coming to the UK include the Panama, a new Spanish-built campervan range, which will be coming to Marquis Leisure. As well as this, Knaus has said it is set to launch a new brand by the end of the year.
