New VW Crafter models to get digital cockpit
Volkswagen (VW) has said its new Crafter model, which is due to go on sale in mid-April, will come with a “digital cockpit”.
The digital cockpit of the VW Crafter will include an electronic brake, a 10.3-inch infotainment display, autonomous emergency braking (including for pedestrians and cyclists), lane assist, dynamic road sign display, a speed limiter and acoustic park distance control all fitted as standard.

The company also says its new Transporter model, due to be launched in 2025 to replace the current Transporter 6.1, which is seen in models such as the Campaway Casa, will have a similar “digital cockpit”.
The new Transporter will be available in lengths of 5.05 and 5.45m, as well as being 12.8cm wider.
