MegaMobil debuts at the Motorhome and Caravan Show

Slovenian based MegaMobil was showing four 2024 models at the Motorhome and Caravan Show, all left-hand drive, in what was a first UK outing for the range.

The campervan builder was launched ten years ago as part of a larger family run textile business called Mega tekstil, and today specialises in the manufacture of high-quality camper vans. The company now sells more than 500 vehicles a year and is looking to expand that total to upwards of 700 with the UK.

MegalMobil builds on several vehicle bases including Fiat, MAN and Mercedes (see: the best van for a camper conversion to find out more about these) and offers an extensive option range with high quality parts. Quality is the brand’s USP and you can see that in the excellent finish and materials used throughout the range – the attention to detail is impressive.

UK agent Dominic Price said that there had been a buzz of interest about the vehicles and that business had been brisk. On show were the following models:

The bed and garage in the Mega Revolution 640

Mega Revolution 640

This 6.4m vehicle is optimised for storage with a spacious garage and motorised bed allowing you to change use of the space and with the option to fit a second bed. The high roof makes it good for taller users.

The Mega Lounge 680 S

Mega Lounge 680 S

This 6.8m long vehicle has a spacious rear lounge at the back and electrically operated popup bed bed. At the front there’s a four person front dinette, which can be made into another sleeping space.

The bed and garage in the Mega Classic 600 S Hubbett

Mega Classic 600 S Hubbett

With ‘Hubbett’ denoting the electric dropdown bed, this vehicle is a real stunner and MegaMobil have high hopes for the van which features a popup roof. There are front bed and pop up roof bed options and it features underfloor heating, alloy wheels and has four wheel drive with differential lock and a garage in the back.

The Mega Lounge 640

With its spacious rear lounge and motorised bed, the 640 has a tall shower with pull across screen, and as with the 680 you can use the lounge in the daytime and drop the bed at night. All vehicles come in a range of colours with plenty of options for textile, furniture and worktop colours.

Other new ‘vans to be making their show debut include the WildAx Meteor, which is based on the Ford Transit. Another converter, Vantage, has also brought a new campervan to the NEC in the shape of the Ford Transit-based Ora F-Line, which is also on display as a gas-free ‘van.
