Hobby streamlines for 2025
Hobby is streamlining its line-up for 2025, and making all-inclusive packages standard on all of its models to make things easier for the customer to understand.
The German company is bringing out its low-profile motorhomes in two new ranges – On Tour C, compact at just 2.23m wide, and On Tour T, with a more conventional width of 2.4m.
On Tour C vans are based on a Citroën Relay with a 140bhp engine, have an MTPLM of 3500kg, and come with optional automatic transmission.
The Fiat-based On Tour T models comprise three models, all with L-shaped front lounge. The On Tour T 710GE has single beds in the back, while the On Tour T 700F and On Tour T 700FH are both ideal for fans of motorhomes with island beds, with one at the rear. The On Tour 700 FH also has a drop-down bed over the lounge, getting a 180bhp engine and an automatic gearbox as standard as a result.

The three Maxia T models, meanwhile, are built on a 4400kg Fiat chassis with a 180bhp engine and automatic transmission as standard. They come with a black chassis cowl with bronze accents and garages complete with mains sockets, as well as Scandinavian-inspired interiors.
The full line-up also includes two family-based On Tour models, both six-berths with six travelling seats. The A 720 GFM is an overcab while the low-profile T 700 KMH features a drop-down bed over the lounge, which can also be converted to a bed, as well as bunks in the rear. These fold up to provide garage space when travelling.
Hobby is renaming all its van conversions as “Van”, rather than last season’s Vantana.
It is also splitting the range up so that, along with the VW-based Maxia vans launched in 2022 at Caravan Salon, all ‘vans on a Citroën base and with Expedition Grey bodywork are now known as On Tour Van. Those on a Fiat Ducato base with Lanzarote Grey bodywork are known as Prestige Van. Both ranges come with a 140bhp engine, and have an MTPLM of 3500kg. On Tour Vans have 2m-long mattresses and a 90-litre fridge, while Prestige Vans come with double glazed tinted windows which open in the rear bedroom.
All Hobby vehicles this season come with the HobbyKomplett all-inclusive package. For ‘vans this includes cab blinds, a door flyscreen, awning, alloy wheels and the HobbyConnect system that lets you control all onboard technology via the control panel or a Bluetooth app. For low-profiles it also includes a heated waste tank and a two-way opening 133-litre Dometic fridge.
The new line-up has been unveiled just as rival Bürstner has also revealed a new family-focused range.
