Pilote is renaming its budget Joa Camp brand as Joa by Pilote – and the brand’s campervans showing the new livery will be launched for the first time anywhere in Europe at the Scottish Motorhome, Caravan & Holiday Home Show in Glasgow next month.
The relaunch will follow in the footsteps of Pilote’s launch of the Atlas A630G earlier in the season, a leisure vehicle that we were impressed enough by to name the best 2 berth motorhome at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2026.
The new name of Joa by Pilote is designed to retain Joa’s unique identity while aligning the brand more closely with Pilote, in whose factories all Joa vehicles are designed and manufactured.
The changes are not just in the name, however. The new 2026 vehicles come with new design overhead lockers, complete with backlighting. There’s new Twist faux leather and fabric upholstery too, with more comfortable seating and Isofix fitted as standard.

And kitchens have been redesigned so that the fridge now comes at the end of the peninsula and is accessible from both inside and outside. There are new exterior decals too.
The Fiat-based vans will be offered in Expedition Grey on the outside. As with Pilote and its Evidence models, there is an all-in-one spec list. This includes a 2.2-litre 14o0bhp engine with automatic transmission as standard, Truma Combi D4 diesel heating, a 100W campervan solar panel, and a roll-0ut awning.

You also get three packs: a 7″ Pack, including a Pioneer Apple and Android-compatible DAB car radio with a 7in screen and a reversing camera; a Bumper Pack, including a painted bumper, protective black skid plate, fog lights and steering wheel controls; and a Rims Pack, featuring 16-inch steel rims. a faux leather steering wheel and air vents with an aluminium finish.
A reduced list of optional extras includes just a pop-up roof and a 200Ah lithium battery.
The French company is initially rolling out just campervans with the new livery. The range comprises the 54G (£58,900 OTR) and 60G (£59,900), both with transverse beds at the back, and the 63T (£61,900) with fixed single beds.
The Scottish Motorhome, Caravan & Holiday Home Show runs at the SEC in Glasgow from 5 to 8 February. Following their debut there, the new vans will also be shown at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC from 17 to 22 February. Other manufacturers to be releasing details about new launches include Hymer. The brand is adding three models for 2026, including a premium low-profile motorhome and an off-grid version of its Grand Canyon.
