Hymer has launched a new premium low-profile model, added another off-grid version of its Grand Canyon campervan, and launched a special edition of the Fiat-based Exsis-t 474.

Hymer has introduced three new models into its range for this year, including a brand new premium model, another 4×4 version of its Grand Canyon campervan, and a special edition version of the low-profile Exsis-t 474.

The new models include something for everyone, whether you’re after a campervan or a motorhome.

The new Hymer GT-S is a low-profile based on a front-wheel-drive Mercedes Sprinter, with a flat internal floor and headroom over 2m throughout. The 7.09m-long vehicle has an MTPLM of 3500kg, so anyone can drive it (see: “what driving licence do I need to drive a motorhome” for more on this). As standard, it has an L-shaped front dinette, but you can opt for face-to-face seating instead.

Internal furnishing is Matara Olive, combining warm wood accents with a matte olive tone, while there is a concrete-effect floor. You can opt for an all-white, two-tone, or all stone grey exterior colour.

Prices for the vehicle, which comes with two berths as standard but can go up to five, start at £92,510 OTR.

The Grand Canyon S 700 Cross Trail Edition, meanwhile, follows on from the Grand Canyon S Cross Over, and the MLT570 CrossOver, which won the best motorhome for full-time living category at the 2025 Practical Motorhome Awards. All three are designed for off-road travel.

With a stone grey exterior colour and bold graphics on the outside, the new Mercedes Sprinter-based van features 18-inch tyres and a bumper chassis protected with Raptor coating. Inside you will find “Tallinn” leather upholstery with orange contrast stitching in a diamond quilted pattern. A 5G router is also fitted as standard. Prices for the 6.97m-long vehicle start at £132,950. But it has an MTPLM of 4,100kg, even heavier than the Cross Over, so you will need a C1 licence to drive it.

Finally the new Exsis-t 474 features a black Fiat cab and a silver body, while inside you will find a washroom with a swinging partition to reveal a shower, and two fixed single beds in the rear. With an unladen weight of less than 3,000kg, there should be plenty of payload to play with in this vehicle that has an MTPLM of 3500kg so anyone can drive it.

All three vehicles were launched at the CMT show in Stuttgart last week.

Hymer’s sister brand Eriba is also making its two EribaCar campervan models – the 600 and 602 – available with an optional pop-top roof that can be raised either manually or electronically. The 602 won the title of best VW campervan at the 2025 Practical Motorhome Awards.

Hymer and Eriba are not the only brands to be releasing details about new or updated models, either. Auto-Trail has announced it is set to have a new F-Line motorhome on display at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show in February, with the F67 coming with a larger rear washroom and an optional drop-down bed.
