A motorhome that could be an ideal solution for those not wanting to miss out on cooking when they are on the go is on show for the first time at the Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC this week (14th-19th October).

Rimor’s Sailer 56 Plus is one of two four-berth motorhomes from the Italian company’s re-established Sailer range on show.

Based on a Ford Transit, the 6.95m-long includes a drop-down bed over a large parallel settee lounge with a pedestal table that folds up to provide access to the cab.

You get a side washroom with a sizeable shower cubicle as well.

But the real piece de résistance comes at the rear: a large L-shaped kitchen with windows on two sides – one of the largest kitchens we have ever seen in a low-profile.

This comes with a three-burner hob, a 141-litre motorhome fridge with a freezer and an oven. That said, the water tanks – 80 litres for fresh and 70 for waste – are not overly generous.

Also on show is the Sailer 55 Plus, with a similar front lounge to the 56 Plus.

However, instead it comes with a transverse bed at the end, behind a substantial transverse washroom with plenty of dressing room. Both models cost £64,995 OTR.

Other brands to be releasing new models at the NEC Show this week include Mobilvetta, with the Italian brand releasing a new compact low-profile which comes with daring upholstery.

That’s not all, with Pilote launching an innovative campervan that has a modular bunk bed system, providing a flexible layout that works just as well for families as it does for solo campervanners.
