The first campervans and motorhomes produced under Pilote’s new-look budget Joa by Pilote brand are on display at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC this week.
The French manufacturer has rebranded what was Joa Camp as Joa by Pilote, to make its parentage clearer.
No matter which side of the campervan vs motorhome debate you settled on, there will be something for you in the Joa by Pilote range. One campervan and one low-profile displaying the new look can be seen on the Durham Caravans & Motorhome Stand at the show (Stand 2219).
On both vehicles, the Pilote branding is now much more in evidence.

But while the campervan model line-up has remained largely unchanged with just new graphics on the outside and a refreshed interior, the rebrand has given the company the opportunity to introduce a new low-profile model, which joins the 54G in being on display on the Durham Caravans & Motorhome Stand.

The new 7.4m-long four-berth Joa 75QB features an L-shaped front lounge with a large side sofa, a washroom that straddles the centre with a shower cubicle on the driver side, and an inline island bed at the rear.

Both campervans and low-profiles still run on a Fiat Ducato.
The 75QB comes with four travel seats, including the cab seats, a reversing camera, cruise control, alloy wheels, and 8-speed automatic transmission. You also get a 97-litre compressor fridge and a 95Ah leisure battery.
Visitors could also see two more models from Joa by Pilote on the River Motorhomes stand, where the coachbuilt Joa 70T and a model from the campervan range, the Joa 60G, were both displayed.
Attendees to the NEC this week are also getting to see motorhomes and campervans from Ace, a brand which motorcaravanners may be familiar with from the turn of the century. The brand is showcasing its models to the public at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show for the first time this week.
