Swift has debuted its three-model Swift Trekker coachbuilt range at the Motorhome and Caravan Show this week.
Swift’s three new Trekker coachbuilt models – with the same rugged appearance as its campervans of the same name (such as the Trekker X), but on low-profiles – have made their first public appearance at the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC this week.
The three models are all built on a Ford Transit and come with a Ford Trail bumper and grille with wide body side mouldings.
All three Trekkers come with Ford’s 2.0-litre, 165bhp engine with eight-speed automatic transmission, and have an MTPLM of 3500kg so anyone can drive them.
Arrangment-wise, they mirror existing motorhome layouts in Swift’s existing Ford-based Voyager range. The 540 (£78,590) is a 7.01m-long end washroom four-berth with a drop-down bed.

The other two models are both 7.85m long, with four berths. The 584 (£79,490) has fixed single beds and a wide central washroom, while fans of island bed motorhomes will be pleased to hear there is one at the rear of the 594 (£79,995).

All three models have parallel settee lounges with Aguti fold-up travel seats underneath.
The vans have distinctive interiors, with charcoal coloured upholstery offset with orange and yellow scatter cushions. On the outside, you also get a cold water shower and a BBQ point.
In the kitchen, you only get a combined oven and grill, but there is a four-burner dual fuel hob and a 133-litre Dometic Series 10 two-way opening fridge.
All models also feature Truma’s new CombiNeo heating system, which provides you with continuous hot water.
Innovations include a magnet to hold the washroom door in a fixed open position.
Malibu has joined Swift in launching new ‘vans at the NEC Show, as it has its more budget-friendly Relax campervan has made its UK debut. Despite having a price that starts from from £52,340, the campervan still comes with useful features, including a second drainage hole in the shower tray.
