Rapido adds more Mercedes vans for 2025
Rapido has added two new Mercedes Sprinter-based models to its top-notch Distinction range for 2025, extending the choice for fans of what is a popular base vehicle.
The French manufacturer has also brought out a special edition of its compact range, first launched at the start of this decade.
And it has updated the spec you get with one of its Ultimate Line models.
The two new vans in the Distinction range are both 8.15m-long and each has a different motorhome layout. The I66M is a motorhome with fixed single beds, while the I96M has an island bed.
Both come with Alde heating and underfloor heating as standard, a 250-litre water tank, two AGM leisure batteries, a large skylight and large double floor. They also feature Rapido’s existing Nacarat luxury wood furniture finish.
The French manufacturer has also brought out Night Edition models of its C55 and C85 compact low-profile motorhomes. Along with the metallic black cab that gives the special edition its name, these come with a light wood Luceo furniture finish, matt black fittings inside and a choice of three different upholsteries including an exclusive Dubrovnik quilted material.

Finally the Ultimate Line spec, which is featured on select models, now includes a washroom with boat deck-style wall cladding, and a shower cubicle with a magnetic door with a matt black edge, a backlit aluminium column, and a white tray with a black duckboard.
The vacuum cleaner you can pull out from its own storage space under the fridge remains part of the spec too. Ultimate Line spec also includes 16-inch alloy wheels, Truma Combi 6EH heating, a heated waste water tank to make winter touring easier, and a choice of exclusive upholstery including Palma or Noumea TEP embroidered upholstery.
Rapido is not the only brand to be releasing new season news, with Carado extending its campervan range and also making one of its models available as a 4×4.
