Pilote has taken to the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC this week (14th-19th October) with an innovative campervan and two new additions to its Atlas range.
The V630S is the latest addition to Pilote’s Vega campervan range. It’s a highly flexible ‘van as it works just as well for those after a campervan for solo travel as it does for a family. This is because it gives the user the freedom to create a space that works for them, thanks to a modular bunk bed system found at the rear of the ‘van.

The upper bunk provides a comfortable sleeping space for one or two of you. However, it is the lower bunk which truly stands out, as it can be used to create one of three arrangements depending on your needs; either as a double bed, twin beds, or as a single bed, with the latter arrangement giving you the freedom to potentially create a huge rear storage area, ideal for transporting accessories such as bikes.

Thanks to the removable storage bags that it comes with, packing should be much simpler too.
As well as this, the V630S has a comfortable lounge which can seat up to four, a kitchen with a two-burner stove, and a washroom complete with a shower, sink and toilet.
It has a length of 6.36m, a width of 2.05m, an MTPLM of 3500kg and a payload of 555kg. Prices start from £68,400.
The two new additions to the Atlas range of compact low-profile motorhomes include the A630G, a motorhome which comes with a rear fixed transverse bed and the option of an electric drop-down bed over the front lounge.

In its kitchen, you get a 142-litre absorption fridge and a two-burner gas hob, while its washroom comes with a partition so you can create a shower cubicle if required. The low-profile also comes with a spacious rear garage, which will provide room for bikes.
The A630G is 6.30m long and prices start from £73,200.

The other new motorhome in the Atlas range is the A690GJ; a 7m-long motorhome which comes with twin beds at the rear which can be turned into a king-sized transverse bed. Like the A630G, it has a lounge which can seat up to five and comes with large garage area for taking your favourite touring accessories away with you. Prices start from £73,700.
Another manufacturer to be sharing new models at the NEC is Swift, which has launched its rugged Trekker coachbuilt range at the Motorhome and Caravan Show this week. The three models in the range come on a Ford Transit and have distinctive interiors. Also making its debut is the Bailey Endurance E65, an eye-catching campervan which can come with an optional TentBox.
