Malibu has debuted its more budget-friendly Relax campervan at the Motorhome & Caravan Show

The Malibu Relax is making its first UK public appearance at the Motorhome & Caravan Show this week.
Those on the hunt for the best budget campervans could be interested in the Relax, as the German company has released it with the aim of bringing its van conversions into a slightly more budget-friendly price point.
There is a single model in the range, the 640 R LE, is based on a 6.36m-long Fiat Ducato and has fixed single beds in the back – one of which is over 2m long.
The cab is coupé style, with no front lockers, to allow for more daylight coming through the sunroof.
The side kitchen includes a 70-litre two-way opening fridge at the end of the peninsula so that it can easily be accessed from inside and outside.
The washroom across the aisle has a tambour door so you can easily increase the amount of room for cooking when the washroom is not in use.
The offside bed has a large hanging wardrobe underneath it, which can easily be accessed by lifting the slats.
Even with a more than usual focus on price, you still get useful features, such as a second drainage hole in the shower tray and a wooden cover to the control panel to reduce the amount of light inside the vehicle at night time.
The model starts at £52,340, although the vehicle on display at the show costs £74,205.
Other manufacturers to be releasing models at the NEC this week include WildAx, which has debuted its Equinox Ford Transit-based campervan, a smart model which features a Lippert roof which will sit flush into a moulding to reduce noise when on the road.
