Eura Mobil launches right hand drive version of Xtura
Eura Mobil is widening its offer in the UK market with the launch of a right hand drive version of its Xtura off-road vehicle.
The Xtura XT 686 EF is based on a 190bhp 4X4 Mercedes Sprinter. The 6.88m-long, three-berth vehicle has three travel seats, and is a motorhome with fixed single beds in the back.
It’s designed to make it possible for you to live off-grid for nearly 20 days, so it comes with a 330Ah leisure battery, and a 145-litre water tank. Solar panels are built into the roof gallery along with ambient lighting, and the body structure itself has been toughened up to make navigating those bumpy tracks that little bit safer and easier: the floor slab is 85mm thick.
The interior features underfloor motorhome heating, while the vehicle comes with Garmin worldwide satellite navigation. On-board services can also be controlled by your smartphone.
Unfortunately with all that on board you can expect a high price too. It starts at £169,995 OTR. You will also need a C1 licence to drive it, because it has an MTPLM of 4100kg.
The launch of the right hand drive of the Xtura from Eura Mobil isn’t the only recent news from the industry. Swift has released its new Trekker campervan, a model which is aimed at the more adventurous motorhomers, while Bailey has also announced it’s dropping the Autograph from its site until the new range launches next year.
