Elnagh motorhomes return to the UK at Marquis Leisure
Elnagh motorhomes are returning to the UK for the first time since 2009, with the Italian manufacturer’s ‘vans to be exclusively available at Marquis Leisure.
Britain’s largest motorhome dealership will initially be offering four models from the company’s Baron range, based on a Peugeot Boxer and with a 2.2-litre, 140bhp engine.
The four models, will all have the habitation door on the “right” side for the UK. There will be a range of motorhome layouts available, with the Baron ‘vans including the 6.59m-long 530, with a front dinette and rear lounge, and the 560, 6.99m long with a front dinette and a transverse bed at the back. There are also two 7.45m-long models – the 573, a motorhome with fixed single beds at the back, and the 579, with an island bed. All four models are already NCC approved.
Spec includes a kitchen with hob, grill and oven, Truma heating, cab blinds, and blinds and flyscreens to all windows and the door.
Prices are yet to be unveiled, as the new motorhomes will make their first public appearance at the Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC from 15 to 20 October.
Elnagh was one of a number of Continental brands that disappeared from the UK market following the worldwide financial crisis of 2008. Some of the other brands have already returned – including Benimar and Mobilvetta, both also sold by Marquis Leisure. One such ‘van on offer is the Benimar Benivan 161, a two-berth ‘van with an impressive washroom and fixed single beds.
Marquis Leisure has also recently announced the Spanish-built Panama range is going to be available from the dealership, with the two model range coming on the Ford Tourneo.
