Auto-Trail to unveil a new Peugeot Boxer-based overcab range at NEC

The Auto-Trail Adventure Coachbuilt range are all four-berth ‘vans and come with a three-way Thetford fridge and Truma CombiNeo.

Auto-Trail is bringing out a new range of overcab motorhomes for the 2027 season – and will be displaying them for the first time at this month’s Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC.

The four models in the Adventure Coachbuilt range, which could all be of interest to those on the hunt for the best four-berth motorhomes, come with four travels seats, built on a Peugeot Boxer chassis, with a three-way Thetford fridge and Truma CombiNeo heating fitted as standard.

The four models are the end washroom Adventure 64, the island bed Adventure 74, the rear lounge motorhome Adventure 76, and the Adventure 76G – with a transverse bed over a garage.

Each model features an all-new bodyshell with a redesigned GRP overcab that has a panoramic skylight at its rear. The bed contained in here can be extended into the lounge area when required, and otherwise can be neatly stowed away to maximise living space.

There’s a new ‘Caramel’ wood colour throughout, and you get a choice of upholstery too: Piero Blue is standard, with darker Otaru Blue as a no cost option. You also get Calgary Dark Grey faux leather bolsters.

Optional packs include a Premium Pack (£1395) that gets you a Pioneer 9-inch touchscreen DAB radio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an integrated colour reversing camera and cab blinds. A Drivers Pack (£1395) includes advanced LED headlights, a leather steering wheel and gear lever, an electronic park brake, remote central locking, and gloss silver Techno dashboard trims.

Finally a Lifestyle Pack (£2250) will get you a wind-out awning, a window in the habitation door, an external gas BBQ point, removable carpets, a microwave, a 21.5-inch Avtex smart TV with wi-fi connectivity and appropriate sockets, and 5G ready portable motorhome Wi-Fi.

Elsewhere within Auto-Trail, Expedition and V-Line Sport campervans will now be available five different exterior colours: white, Lanzarote grey, black, Artense grey, Grigio grey, and – due to be shown for the first time at the NEC – Storm blue. V-Line Sport models now come with motorhome wi-fi as standard.

But the V-Line SE and Adventure ‘van ranges have been dropped, at least for the 2027 season.

In other recent motorhome news, Swift has announced it is ditching the overcabs in its Voyager range and it is giving its Fiat-based Voyager range a facelift for the new season.
