Motorhomes, particularly campervans, sometimes seem to have been invented to make your trip to a festival or a beach this summer that much more enjoyable.
But even with such admirable support, there are one or two things you should really take with you to make that beach or that mosh pit experience that much more enjoyable.

YETI coolboxes have begun to gain something of a cult following, but they are not always the easiest on your wallet. This 35% discount makes it that much easier for you to get your hands on this robust coolbox that can hold wine bottles or up to 20 drink cans weighing up to 12kg in total. Available in nine different colours, it fastens with magnets, so you don’t have to fiddle with buckles while the crowd is jiving. It also has a “kangaroo” pocket for carrying your mobile or wallet. Whenever you go to the beach, there is always the question of what to do with your valuables while you are going for a dip. You may feel it’s OK to leave them on the beach where you can see them, but is that really secure? With this dry bag you can have extra peace of mind because you can take such items with you. I have extolled the virtues of Crocs on numerous occasions during these Prime Day events. Buying a pair will never exactly break the bank, but the discount this week makes them so much easier on your wallet – so you could possibly get two pairs! Crocs easily win over other footwear on summer occasions in particular because they are lightweight, waterproof, flexible, and easy to kick off. So you can wander down below high tide mark without worrying about the waves suddenly rushing in, or get back to your van laden down with festival goodies and just kick your Crocs off at your door.
Portable folding barbecue grill – was £14.99 now £12.15 (save 19%)
You could, of course, have a gas barbecue connected to your vehicle back at the caravan park, but it’s a bit of a performance dragging that to the beach or the festival. This fold-up stainless steel barbecue weighs just 1.6kg and has handles to make it easy to carry – although you obviously need to bring charcoal with you to light it. With a windbreak installed, or in a quiet corner somewhere on the festival site (provided barbecues are allowed), it could be the centre of a perfect evening.
Hontry compact binoculars – were £34.99 now £22.22 (save 36%)
Have you arrived so late at the festival that you are right at the back and can barely make out who is singing? Or do you want to make absolutely sure that that was an incredibly rare lesser spotted egret you briefly saw flying over the wave a moment ago? These binoculars could help you out with both those issues. They weigh only 60g and can easily fit in your palm, so carrying them won’t be a burden. But they can magnify anything up to 10 times, so you shouldn’t feel you are missing out.
