The Aura 6EB made its NEC debut on the Beez Leisure stand at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show this week.

A new VW Crafter-based transverse bed campervan from Aura is on show at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC this week (17th-22nd February) on the Beez Leisure stand.

The Crafter is one of the best vans for converting to a camper, and the 5.99m-long 6EB runs on a 140bhp engine, with a reversing camera, heated cab seats, cab air conditioning and cruise control all fitted as standard.

The front dinette comes with leather upholstery in a choice of four different colours, including a vivid orange, while you get a choice of ten different locker doors colours and four different floor finishes.

The side kitchen includes a removable spray tap and a two burner hob, as well as a microwave.

The small side washroom still manages to include a sizable shower thanks to having a small but permanent basin.

The transverse bed at the rear is only 1.2m wide, but you get direct internal access to the large garage area under the bed, for some useful campervan storage options. Unusually, you access the toilet cassette through this area as well.

The van features Eberspacher diesel heating, and also includes a Fiamma awning and a 100Ah lithium battery as standard.

Aura is entirely made in Britain and is a new project of Mike Lake, formerly the UK representative for Knaus.

The 6EB costs £96,995OTR or £99,995OTR with an automatic gearbox.

Joining the 6EB in debuting at the show is the Panama P12+, which can be seen on the Marquis Leisure stand and is a campervan which has completely removable rear seats. The February Show has also seen Ace return to the NEC, exhibiting a range of motorhomes and campervans on its stand.
