The Caravan and Motorhome Club adds Park Cliffe to its campsite network

The Caravan and Motorhome Club has announced it has taken over a long-term lease of Park Cliffe Camping and Caravan Estate.

The move, which will see the site renamed Park Cliffe Windermere Camping and Caravan Park, has come after a collaboration with Park Cliffe’s owners.

The best campervan sites in the Lake District will offer a peaceful and picturesque setting for taking in the beauty of the area, and guests at Park Cliffe will find it is set only three miles from Bowness-on-Windermere, and offers a tranquil environment for enjoying beautiful views over Lake Windermere.

The site has won a David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award, and during a stay, guests may spot a variety of wildlife, including both roe deer and red deer. Amenities on offer include a bar and restaurant, a games room, a shop, and free Wi-Fi for those who want internet in a motorhome. The family-friendly park also has an adventure playground for children, and allows guests to hire private bathrooms if they so desire
