For the 2026 season, Swift – the UK’s largest leisure vehicle manufacturer – has added a new coachbuilt range, the Trekker, which is inspired by the Hull-based company’s campervan line-up of the same name.

The manufacturer has also streamlined its motorhome offerings for 2026, most notably in the discontinuation of the narrow-bodied Fiat Ducato-based three-model Ascari coachbuilt range. There are other tweaks across the board, too, with revamped exteriors and interiors, particularly in the kitchens and washrooms.

One other significant development is the introduction of Truma’s new CombiNeo water- and space-heating system in Voyager coachbuilts, which promises to deliver endless hot showers after an initial warm-up time.

Trekker motorhomes

The new Trekker motorhomes promises to provide campervan styling in a coachbuilt body, and the initial pictures look exciting for a range which is set to be on display at the Motohome and Caravan Show next month.

Trekker Motorhomes will share the Transit base vehicle with the Voyager, but offer the rugged styling seen in the campervan line-up through vans such as the Trekker X, including an attractive grey exterior and dark interior that looks really stylish.

Three layouts will be available – the 7.01m-long 540, and the 7.8m-long 584 and 594 – and all will have the 165bhp Ford engine with auto gearbox as standard. Prices will range from £78,590 to £79,995 for the ‘vans.

Swift Voyager

Swift’s popular Voyager Ford Transit-based line-up remains for 2026, albeit missing one layout: the end-washroom Voyager 510, the winner of our best four berth motorhome category at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2025, has been deleted for this season, leaving nine models in the range.

Otherwise, floorplans are the same, with vehicles having between four and six berths, and coming in at between 6.19m (the Voyager 505) and 7.85m (the Voyager 584 and 594).

Interestingly, you’ll need a C1 licence for three of 2026 Voyagers (the 475, the 485 and the 574), because they have an MTPLM of 3550kg. However, the two former models can be specified with four travel seats, rather than five, in which case they will then be rated at an MTPLM of 3500kg.

There are a handful of interior and exterior tweaks to Voyager vehicles, including new-look graphics and a new soft furnishing scheme, as well as different fabrics, colours and textures featuring in the washroom and kitchen worktop/splashback. Blackout blinds have also been added.

Most notable, though, is the addition of the dual-fuel Truma CombiNeo water- and space-heating system – this promises to deliver endless hot showers (after an initial warm-up time), thus limiting the wait for the water to reheat between users.

Voyager is set to cost from £71,390 to £77,290 when it goes on sale for 2026.

Swift Escape

Escape was originally launched back in 2009 as a budget motorhome range; since then it’s slowly become more luxurious, transforming into the kit-packed line-up that you see today.

The Fiat Ducato-based range remains very similar to the 2025 offering: for 2026, there continue to be four models available, with a variety of layouts including fixed single beds, one island bed and either four or six berths.

Escape models vary in length from 6.99m (for the 640) through to 8.22m (for the 674 and 694). You’ll need the correct driving licence to drive the motorhome, however, with a C1 category driving licence required for all of them; three have an MTPLM of 3700kg, with the heaviest of the lot at 4500kg (the 674). The latter has a high, 1010kg payload as a result.

There are some minor tweaks to the interior furnishings for the new season, including black washroom fittings, a different kitchen worktop and splashback, a new Bolonia upholstery scheme, blackout blinds and more. There’s also a new exterior graphics scheme, co-ordinated with the cab.

Perhaps the most interesting upgrades, though, are to the kit levels: there’s now a new reversing camera with sensors, which is linked to the 10-inch entertainment screen in the cab, and a Thule T4200-series roll-out awning is also now fitted.

You can expect to pay from £88,890 to £93,790 for a 2026 Swift Escape.

Swift Kon-Tiki

Heading up Swift’s 2026 offering is, of course, the flagship Kon-Tiki, and these high-end, luxury motorhomes continue to promise comfort in spades for the coming season.

This year, the Fiat-Ducato-based Kon-Tiki has been pared down to four models, though, from the previous six: the 774 rear-lounge and the 884 fixed-single-bed models have both been discontinued.

The four standard remaining models offer a variety of luxurious layouts, and range in length from 7.84m (the 784) through to 8.96m (for the 874 and 894). You will require a C1 driving licence, with MTPLMs coming in at either 4500kg or 5000kg. The 894 can be specified with a drop-down bed over its lounge, in place of lockers.

All models have a 180bhp engine with automatic gearbox as standard.

Outside, you’ll notice new graphics, co-ordinated with the cab, but it’s inside where the most eye-catching changes have been implemented.

The new rear garage has an upgraded floor, lighting, heating and sockets. Feed from the reversing camera links to the 10-inch entertainment screen.

Improvements inside include Lentil Ultraleather soft furnishings, blackout blinds, a new worktop and splashback, and a new washroom design.

There are increased storage pockets and a new lift-up mattress headrest in the 794 and 894. There’s also a new Thetford thermostatic oven and grill, as well as a three-burner hob with 800W hotplate and electric ignition.

The Kon-Tiki is set to cost £105,290 to £122,690 (the latter for the 894 with drop-down bed).
