Amazon’s Spring Deal Days event (10th-16th March) seems ideally placed, as it is happening just before the season really kicks in.
So, is there something you really need to get to make your touring this year that extra little bit special? I’ve had a look through the spring deals (so you won’t have to), and made the following selection of items I would want to take with me on any significant motorhome trip.
There are almost certainly other places you can get these items, but, given the discounts on offer this week, you would be mad not to give these bargains at least a quick butchers.

I used to think I could get away without needing a hose as I could find one on site, but I am so tired of trying to fill motorhome water tanks with flimsy bits that have usually been left behind for good reason. Did you buy your motorhome a few years ago and felt it was so up to date with USB chargers – only to be shocked at how quickly everything changed to USB C? Don’t despair – there’s no need to rip up the van to put new sockets in. All you need is one of these.

Getting rid of rubbish at the end or your stay can be a bit of an issue. You usually haven’t generated enough waste to warrant a huge liner, but you don’t want to have to use a plastic bag either. These eco-friendly bin liners should do the trick. They possibly work for dog poop too.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Crocs are by some measure the most practical casual shoe to wear on a campsite. They are waterproof, virtually indestructible, super lightweight, and easy to kick off when you get back to the van. Who cares what fashionistas say?
