We all know that owning a motorhome is the best way to help you go exploring and find out just what this great country of ours has to offer.
But it can be made just that tiny bit better with the addition of some accessories that add comfort and flexibility to your touring life. And thanks to Amazon Prime Day this week (23-26 June), you can get many of these for a great deal less than you would usually have to pay.
Here is my pick of five.

Set of 2 Sumner padded camping chairs were £49.99 now £41.99 (save 16%)
Whether you have an awning or not, outdoor furniture that you can place just outside your motorhome always allow you to enjoy the great outdoors in a little bit more comfort. These chairs weigh only 3.3kg, so they won’t eat into your payload, and fold up to be less than 1m long, so could easily fit in an external locker. They can hold anyone weighing up to 120kg (that’s just under 19 stone in old money) and the mesh outer fabric makes them breathable, even with foam padding. They also come with an inbuilt drinks holder and a side pocket for books, magazines and iPads.
Inflatable lounger was £35.32 now £29.74 (save 16%)
An inflatable lounger like this one is always going to be more comfortable to relax in than a rock solid chair, especially one like this that comes with back support. Your kids will love it too – in fact, they might even fight over it! You don’t even need a pump to inflate this one – you just run it against the wind to fill it with air. It’s made of 210D ripstop nylon fabric, comes with its own storage bag with a shoulder strap, and a peg so that you can secure it in place once it is inflated. It even includes a pocket where you can store you phone or a book.
Soundcore Boom Go 3i portable Bluetooth speaker was £59.99 now £39.99 (save 33%)
A portable Bluetooth speaker that you can either use in the awning or take with you for a picnic always elevates a summer day – especially one that isn’t so bonecrushingly expensive that you would worry all the time about leaving it behind. This one is even cheaper this week, thanks to Amazon Prime day. From a respected brand, it manages to produce 15W of sound, has a 24-hour battery life, is waterproof an tested to withstand drops of up to 1m. It also comes in four different colours.
Jackery Explorer 1000 v2+ 200W solar panel portable power station was £948 now £664 (save 30%)
A portable power station can make it easier for you to enjoy the life outside wherever you go – especially when it is powers by its own 200W solar panel, as this one is. The Jackery 1000 v2+ has a maximum AC output of 1500W and remarkably can be fully charged again in just one hour. Yet it weighs only just over 10kg, so should be relative easy to carry. Just 34cm long, 23 cm wide and 23m high, it shouldn’t take up too much boot or locker space either.
Awning carpet 3x6m was £62.99 now £50.99 (save 19%)
An awning carpet can turn your awning into a real extra room, as to somewhere with a floor that is either scratchy or soggy – and sometimes both at the same time! This breathable 280g/cu m HDPE groundsheet comes in its own storage bag with its own U-shaped nails that you can peg through ten evenly spaced eyelets. The kit includes a nail puller and small broom set. (You may still need to check with your caravan park that such groundsheets are allowed.)
